Back in 2012 there were a lot of people talking about the Mayan calendar. The gist of the matter was a debate over the ideas that a prediction was expressed because the calendar was said to be coming to an end in its serviceability. That the calendar was presenting us with a prediction that somehow the end of our world and its populations was to come to pass.

According to other parts of the interpretation; the calendar had been created and projected in times long past and that the calendar was based on a galactic cycle of some 24,000 to 26,000 years; it was divided into five ages of man’s existence on Earth. The grand or great long count cycle; is derived from the passage of the Earth’s movements in its passage as it moves around the galactic dish from a beginning place or location; and back once again to that relative place or location in the dish; after each circuit of the dish. It was misinterpreted as a prediction of that circuit being an ending of the Earth’s existence. The true meaning was simply that a new calendar cycle was beginning and a new calendar was needed to mark the passage of the new long count cycle of the Earth’s passage during its new cycle around the galactic dish.

It’s 2023 and we humans are still here; and the Earth has progressed naturally along its path through the galactic dish. Yes there have been changes in the climate of the Earth. But, so far we cannot say there is an end just ahead. We cannot predict with certainty that there will be a series of years of either feast or famine. What we can do is say there are areas of the Earth which are experiencing severe drought; and there are areas of the Earth which are receiving massive quantitative amount of rain and snow. The weather reports are projections of a few days to perhaps a couple of weeks; in certain areas that’s about as good as it gets. Certainly no one is making predictions that would span years ahead; or expressing such specifics as feast or famine.

Although everyone realizes that changes are occurring, and they are no doubt connected to the changes which are taking place as the Earth moves in its position along its path of progression in the galactic dish.

Now, let’s examine a story recorded and told in a book; and it is claimed to be true. Also said to be true is the details of the story, that predictions were made which covered an extended period of some 14 years. The predictions were said to be based on a dream; or series of dreams. The interpretations were not by the dreamer; but by another man, who was asked to interpret the dream or dreams.

The interpretation predicted that there would be seven years; of plenty ; then seven years of famine. In a very real sense; the prophet was betting his life on the predictions. Predictions covering extreme circumstances; over a 14 year time period.

I live in California and used to live in a small secluded area, in southern California. I lived there in the same house for many years. Back in my childhood years it used to get cold and snowy in the winter. That changed to cold and rainy in the winter. Then it was just rainy during the winter; then winter just quit coming. Then the rain just quit coming. Then the Coast highway dried out and vacation trips were no longer so pretty and green. Over those 30 to 40 years, the world changed a drastic amount. Then along came 2012 and the Mayan calendar debates.

Rewinding the clock in my cycle of life; I left out the original for the predictions of the seven years of feast; and the seven years of famine. There are many on Earth who know that the story comes from the bible. I was programmed by many years of church in Bible classes.

Words are an invention of man; used to convey to other men and women; ideas. The more they are used; in connection to a specific image or idea; the more usable they become and the more specific is their intent; and the more creative is their effect.

The questions I formed in my younger years; I kept ; and after Vietnam ; I set out to find the answers. Much of those questions ; had both religious and scientific components.

Now, many years later; after my quest for answers has yielded many; and blended science and religion in the process. I have decided the person named Joseph in the bible; was well acquainted with the so-called Mayan calendar; and his prediction must have been based on the long count motion of the Earth in its last seven years of its first half of the cycle, as the seven years of plenty; in the first seven years of the cycle starting to return through its orbit ; back towards its starting place in the long count cycle; as the seven years of famine.

An interesting addition to this line of reasoning is that if true then that would place Joseph in Egypt; at the time of the halfway point in the long count calendar; or roughly 12, 000 to 13,000 years ago.

Now getting back to the idea that the end of the Mayan calendar occurred roughly in 2012, and looking at and considering that years of plenty and years of famine may have occurred in succession; at the middle of the cycle; back at the halfway point ; and given that cycles have a way of showing similarities or opposite expressions at their beginnings and their midway points ; then perhaps the reverse of effects on this end. The cycle has brought us years of drought and then years of more and more precipitation.

It seems to me; that is what may be going on whether or not it has anything to do with the main long count calendar or not; is open to debate, if you care to allow this idea to be considered.

One more thing to consider about the story of Joseph in the bible: words are an invention of man; and open to misinterpretation; what has been called a coat of many colors; may have been a code of many colors. What was called a birthright; usually was considered to be the most important possession; a father had; to pass it to his son. Knowledge of the Mayan long count calendar; would be very important; and kept very restricted in secret. As would also; a knowledge of the code of many (seven) colors of the Alchemist.

There are three parts to the knowledge of the whole world ; those are ; the What; the How; and the When.
