Ezekiel’s wheel in a wheel; Jacob’s ladder ; Joseph’s code of many colors; Noah’s ark; with the experiment ending with a rainbow; and two of every kind; taken into the ark. Also Alchemical is the (gold crystalline) tree of life; and its essence, the river of life; which gives immortality; also notable is the flaming sword which turns roundabout and is set to guard the garden of Eden; or Earth and its treasures.

The Bible is a book of secrets; and the patriarchs were alchemists; Moses; David; Solomon; Adam; Noah; and so on. If the stories are to be believed; there was at one time; knowledge of where; when; and how to extract the essence of immortality from gold; and how to consume it. It appears however that David either did not have or did not pass the secret to Solomon. So Solomon spent his ever declining years trying to figure out and produce the substance. The hundreds of years of lifespan; which had been lived by earlier patriarchal rulers; progressively declined after David.
Solomon, it is recorded, was an extreme experimenter and did have the Jinn or Genie in the bottle; so the story goes. Even so; he, it appears, did not have the secret of immortality.

If the book attributed to Solomon “The Goetia,” “The Lesser Key of King Solomon,” is really representative of Solomon and his writing; it’s mind-blowing how deeply he was into the Alchemical art; and the astrological connected practice.
