Consciousness according to the dictionary: knowing; aware; (conscien: see conscience) conscience, consciousness a moral sense; a knowledge or sense of right and wrong.
Consciousness equals the state of being conscious; awareness of one’s own feelings; the totality of one’s thoughts, feelings; and impressions; conscious mind.

For me the definition does not go back far enough; to explain what consciousness is; or how it came to be. In a basic and simple view; is an electric form or image; radiating with its existence, and at the same time; seeing or recognizing itself; or radiating form; as a unit of one; or a singular container of a self.

It’s extremely important to recognize and understand that there are at least three pieces of data which are mandatory in a definition of what consciousness is. First; without light there could be no consciousness; without matter there is no container within which light; contained or; form from which it can radiate.

As far as how consciousness can recognize its own existence; it comes down to the light radiant ; being reflected back to itself; in the light broadcast from the form; being absorbed; and that radiant being witnessed by the form; which originally emitted that radiant. It’s similar to when you look at someone; or some animal; and it follows your gaze; right back to you; and the seer becomes the seen.

Without light, this could not happen. The level of creation begins at the level of thought; and proceeds through creation of an image into the material form. Everything is created in, and by, the image.
