To start alchemical experiments; what would be necessary knowledge; to have been assembled; and what tools would by necessity have to exist; in order for the art to have first been set into motion.
The first thing would be the observation that there is a fertility cycle in human reproduction and that it is directly connected to the Moon and its cyclic effects; monthly and yearly in not only the human female; but in reality; is controlling all animal; vegetable; and mineral reproduction on the mother Earth.
Observation and recording of those factors would need to be accompanied by the study of every – thing; from that point on. The accumulation of knowledge is the accumulation of power; and is the key to daily life, and wellbeing; regeneration and longevity.
The first and most important observation is that there is no life or reproduction without the sunlight and the fertility cycles of the Sun; Moon; and Venus. That was the reason why the ancients considered those heavenly bodies to be the gods of creation, without them, there is no life cycle on the Earth. Mother Earth would not be a mother; it would be a rock or an iron ball; covered by a layer of ice.
Because we have life cycles; we have evolved with an atmosphere which focuses and concentrates light and the liquid water drops into cells; with centers composed of minerals; around which the circulation evolved. The eggs of creation; revolve and attract; through the bi-polar motion of gravitation; and the eggs of creation; become ionized or fertilized; and the revolution leads to evolution. As the photons of our visible colors of light instigate gravitation; and bi-polar attraction; which results in masses of minerals; and the food for vegetable, and animal life; which can then come into existence.
The alchemist thus first notes the causes; then studies the results or effects; and how those observed energies; make manifest the results.
The study of the what; how; and when can take many years; so notations and generations of a number of offsprings; are necessary in order to even begin the experimentation and the efforts to understand nature and her mechanisms of alchemical operations.
After many generations of study of the what; next by lengthy study of the hows; and a great deal of what might be called luck; or good fortune. One might discover that a study of the human eye and a study of the Earth’s atmosphere; yield some great insights as to how nature images or imagines things material; into existence. The colored rings of light, occasionally seen around the Sun; one might imagine as the outside diameter of a convergent lens; similar to the Human eye. In a simple view your eyes focus into your brain; you take that light; and imagine an idea; and if you keep that idea alive; you create a manifest object. And in a very real sense; light thru imagery; makes a material object with you as the creative medium.
A convergent lens and a parabolic mirror; can both be used to concentrate light, and create images. Images held in activation are both radiating and absorbing at the same time; as every action has an opposite and equal reaction. An image held in radiant existence is becoming a physical manifest object as long as it is held in radiant existence.
So a study of the fertility cycles; a study of the astrological gods of creation; a study of the Earth and its atmosphere; a study of the human eyes and the processes of imagination; a study of the micro-cosm; and the macro-cosm; a study of the Earth’s elements; a study of the motion of gravitation and the photonic instigation of gravitation; and gravity. All of these and more are necessary in order for the artist to begin to understand the whats; the hows; and the whens of the alchemical arts. All of that seems like a mountain of study; and it is; but it is still way short of explaining anything to do with meaningful experiments and results; or the artifice of the operations and how it is to be of use during the operations of the art.
Those early students looked to nature to guide them in the knowledge of the mechanisms that nature uses in the operations of the alchemical experiments.
For example; the rainbow is not a bow; but a circle; it is created at a low angle; from behind the viewer; as the Sun is shining thru the edge of, and under the cloud; and thru and into a mist between the bottom of the cloud and the Earth under the cloud. Only half of the circle is above the surface of the Earth. The other half is in the Earth; and out of sight. The ancient observers considered such ideas; as that; and then looked at the halo of colored rings around the Sun; and wondered where the focal points of the lens were; in the egg of the Mother Earth.
Such was the so-called revelation of Ezekiel in the bible; referred to as Ezekiel’s “wheel in a wheel.” Therein lies the study of the artifice of operations of the art; and the key to the how; of experimentations.
