There are some who claim that science fiction is a path for discovery of new and wonderful things. There is also the fact that science fiction has been the cause of a lot of wasted mind time for millions of people. For example; there is no “warp speed.” There is however a “speed of disintegration.” The only thing which is capable of light speed is the photon particle of light. All atoms of matter have multiple spin rates in their components; and therefore, unlike the photon particle, they fly apart if they approach the speed of light.

Another fallacy is the idea of there being multi-verse spherical bubbles which compose the vast reaches of space. If that were true; we would see spears of focused light; piercing our universe; because a spherical bubble is a convergent lens; which focuses light into spears of light; and every imagined bubble would focus the light from the stars; into every other bubble. Which would be obvious; when we look out into our universal bubble; there are no spectral spears to be seen. Therefore, there are no multi-versal bubbles.

There is no one setting out to reach another Earth-like planet to live on. Even if one existed; we cannot live long enough to get there. Leaving the Earth; and going out into space; is a slow dying experience. Out in space the human body quits making bones; and blood production stops.
